Kaylee Hottle is an 11-year-old American deaf actress who is well known for her wonderful portrayal of Jia (a young girl known for communicating with Kong using sign language) in the 2021 film “Godzilla vs Kong.”
Kaylee is set to reprise her role as Jia in the 2024 film “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.” The expected release date for this film is April 12, 2024.

Kaylee Hottle was born on May 01, 2012, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. She is the daughter of Joshua Hottle and Ketsi Hottle. She also has four siblings an older deaf sister and three hearing siblings.
It is said that Kaylee is the fourth generation of an all-deaf family that comes from her father’s side. Her ethnicity is mixed (Asian & caucasian) as both parents are from different backgrounds.

Before becoming an actress, Kaylee Hottle had already started to appear in TV commercials. In 2017, she appeared in a Glide App announcement, and the following year, she played a key part in “10 Deaf Children: One Powerful Message,” a project supporting equality in the Deaf community, directed by Sheena McFeely and produced by ASL Nook.
Shifting from TV commercials to the big screen, Kaylee stood out for her role in “Godzilla vs. Kong,” a thrilling clash of powerful monsters vying for control. In the film, Kaylee played “Jia,” an orphan with a deep bond and communication with Kong.
What made Kaylee unique in casting was her perfect fit for Jia’s role. Movie producer Alex Garcia shared that when searching for the ideal Jia, Kaylee emerged as an outstanding talent beyond the usual casting channels.
