Maia Reficco Viqueira’s journey began in Boston, Massachusetts on July 14, 2000, where she was born. At the age of six her family originally from Argentina, relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Claudia Brant, impressed by Maia’s talent, took the initiative to send the covers Maia had uploaded on the platform to the production team of the series. This paved the way for Maia to be contacted and invited to audition.
For her audition, Maia chose to perform the Ariana Grande hit, “Dangerous Woman.” Her rendition of the song caught the attention of the casting team, ultimately earning her the lead role of Kally Ponce in the series.
To further fuel her growing career, Maia signed with Deep Well Records. She traveled to Miami to record music specifically for the series.
On October 19, 2017, Maia made her debut appearance at the Kids’ Choice Awards Argentina, where she presented the theme song of the series, “Key of Life.”

In 2022, Maia took a leap into the film world with a role in the Netflix movie, “Do Revenge.” Also, she starred as Noa Olivar in the HBO Max series, “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” alongside Zaria Simone.
